PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for contributing to realization of quick and appropriate shaping by executing quick and appropriate data conversion.SOLUTION: A data conversion device comprises: an acquisition section S200 acquiring three-dimensional model data representing a three-dimensional object and characteristics information associated with a lamination type shaping device performing shaping by laminating a plurality of layers; a conversion section S210 converting the three-dimensional model data into a plurality of slice data representing the plurality of layers; and a transmission section S230 transmitting the plurality of slice data to the shaping device. The conversion section S210 converts the three-dimensional model data into the slice data allowing the three-dimensional object to be shaped by the shaping device by conversion processing selected from a plurality of pieces of conversion processing in response to the characteristics information. |
