METHOD FOR FABRICATING GLASS COMPRISING PREHEATING STEP OF GLASSMAKING MATERIALS

Provided is a glass manufacturing method, capable of recovering waste heat from decompression-defoamation step and using the waste heat for preheating raw glass materials at a raw glass material combination step, thereby reducing necessary heat in the next step of melting. The glass manufacturing method according to the present invention includes: a combination step for combining raw glass materials; a melting step for producing molten glass by heating the raw glass materials; a decompression-defoamation step for removing bubbles included in the molten glass; and a forming step for forming glass from the molten glass. By taking out waste gas including gas and volatile components which is in contact with the molten glass in the decompression-defoamation step, the waste gas is used for preheating the raw glass materials in the combination step.
