<p>JAW RESTRAINT A jaw restraint (10) in combination with a surgical stapler (12) is provided. The jaw restraint (10) comprises a first arm (42) having a first recess (42a), a first jaw (26) of the surgical stapler (12) being disposed in the first recess (42a); a second arm (44) having a second recess (44a), a second jaw (28) of the surgical stapler (12) being disposed in the second recess (44a); and a projection (46) directed inwardly between the first arm (42) and the second arm (44), the projection (46) being interposed between the first jaw (26) of the surgical stapler (12) and second jaw (28) of the surgical stapler (12).</p> |
