The method involves providing an exhaust gas recirculation with a gas turbine, a heat recovery steam generator (9) and an exhaust gas divider (29). The exhaust gas is divided in two exhaust gas streams (21). One exhaust gas stream is provided for recirculation to a suction flow of the gas turbine, where the other exhaust gas stream is provided for delivery to the environment. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a gas turbine power plant with compressor inlet that is divided in sectors; and (2) a compressor blade with a blade base.
