The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for antenna impedance matching of an electronic device. The antenna impedance matching apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a matching controlling unit, which determines power control information including information for controlling transmission power and uplink scheduling information, and which determines an amount of each change in the transmission power in a plurality of tuner states for controlling the antenna impedance, by using the power control information and the uplink scheduling information, and thus which selects one of the plurality of tuner states on the basis of the amount of change in the transmission power according to the tuner state; and an antenna matching unit which performs antenna impedance matching in the selected tuner state.
