The subsea converter device (10) comprises furthermore a plurality of converter module devices (26-29) arranged within the pressure-compensated device enclosure (11). Each of the converter module device (26-29) comprises a corresponding pressure-compensated module enclosure (46) sealing an interior of the pressure-compensated module enclosure (46) form the interior of the pressure-compensated device enclosure (11).
