The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker composition associated with high quality pork and a method for determining high quality pork, and provides a composition for determining high quality pork containing a polynucleotide, which comprises a 5-50 continuous DNA sequence including at least one SNP marker selected from a group comprising a 26th nucleotide of sequence number 1 to 138, or its complementary polynucleotide. In addition, the present invention provides a kit and a method for determining high quality pork using the SNP marker. Information associated with high quality pork can thereby be rapidly determined and used for developing pork having an excellent taste.
