The present invention relates to a device and method to diagnose a failure of a pressure-side impact sensor. The device to diagnose a failure of a pressure-side impact sensor comprises: an oxygen sensor which is installed in a sealed structure of a pressure-side impact sensor and measures the oxygen concentration of the sealed structure; and a control part which determines whether the pressure-side impact sensor fails based on the oxygen concentration measured through the oxygen sensor.
