According to the present invention, surface-modified nanoparticles comprises nanoparticles with a diameter of 100 nm or smaller, and modifiers connected to a surface of the nanoparticles; thus having high selectivity and sensitivity on lead ions, and checking a phenomenon of surface plasmon resonance with the naked eyes. Moreover, a colorimetric detection method for lead ions using the surface-modified nanoparticles comprises: an input step of placing samples to be detected in a colorimetric sensor containing the surface-modified nanoparticles; and a detection step of detecting whether or not the samples to be detected contain 0.3 ppm or greater of the lead ions using the color change of a colorimetric sensor. As such, the colorimetric detection method conveniently and directly detects the samples on site, detects the lead ions until a detectable limit concentration appropriate to the criteria, and quickly and accurately detects the amount of the lead ions. |
