PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article continuously releasing a lotion for protecting a wearer's skin and having excellent re-wetting properties.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable layer 2, a liquid-impermeable layer, an absorber layer 3, and a gel lotion 6. The gel lotion 6 includes a styrene-based elastomer as a gelatinizer and a hydrocarbon as a lotion. In at least one part of mutually adjacent two gel areas of a plurality of gel areas 8, two proximal points 13 of the mutually adjacent two gel areas 8, an intermediate point 14 located at an intermediate therebetween, two proximal-point equivalent points 15, and an intermediate-point equivalent point 16 have following relationships i)-iii): i) both water contact angles of the two proximal points 13 are 85° or more; ii) a water contact angle at the intermediate point 14 is larger than the water contact points at the two proximal-point equivalent points 15; and iii) a difference between the water contact angle of the intermediate point 14 and the water contact angle at the intermediate-point equivalent point 16 is larger than -3(°). |
