PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide imaging device and method and program that can obtain a high-quality luminance image.SOLUTION: An imaging device picks up a luminance image by a monochromatic image sensor, and picks up a color image by a color image sensor. A magnification aberration amount determining unit analyzes a magnification chromatic aberration amount of each image height position on the basis of information on magnification chromatic aberration of a lens unit. A recording image selection units selects, as a recording image, a luminance image picked up by the monochromatic image sensor or a luminance image obtained from a color image picked up by the color image sensor on the basis of the analysis result of the magnification chromatic aberration amount. By selecting the luminance image corresponding to the magnification chromatic aberration amount as described above, a high-quality recording image having little burring caused by the magnification chromatic aberration can be obtained. This technique is applicable to a digital still camera. |
