PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus that has a surface potential of a photoreceptor made uniform even if the photoreceptor has film reduction and thereby causes no end fogging on a recording medium so as to have stabilized picture quality.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus (1) includes: a photoreceptor (10) which has a photosensitive layer formed on its surface and rotates in one direction; a static elimination part (12) which irradiates the photoreceptor with light so as to eliminate static electricity on the surface; an electrifier (11) which electrifies the surface of the photoreceptor having its static electricity removed by the static elimination part; and an exposure part (13) which irradiates the surface of the photoreceptor electrified by the electrifier with light so as to form an electrostatic latent image. The static elimination part (12) carries out the static elimination without irradiating at least a film reduction range outside a recording medium in an axial direction of the photoreceptor, and the exposure part (13) irradiates the film reduction range with light uniformly in surface potential to other ranges so as to make static elimination corrections. |
