PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film solar cell capable of increasing photoelectric conversion efficiency and especially increasing an open circuit voltage and furthermore having less reduction of the photoelectric conversion efficiency even after being heated at high temperature, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the thin film solar cell.SOLUTION: A thin film solar battery includes: a cathode; an anode; a photoelectric conversion layer arranged between the cathode and the anode; and an electron transport layer arranged between the cathode and the photoelectric conversion layer. The photoelectric conversion layer has a portion containing an organic semiconductor and a portion containing sulphide and/or selenide. Between the photoelectric conversion layer and the electron transport layer, a layer containing a titanium acid alkaline earth compound is arranged. |
