PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust preventive composition capable of being applied with good workability and reducing its hanging even when applied thickly, and a rust preventive method of applying the rust preventive composition.SOLUTION: The invention is a rust preventive composition containing calcium sulfonic acid of 14.0 to 18.5 mass% based on the total amount of the rust preventive composition, wax and a solvent. Therefore the rust preventive composition can be applied with good workability and the hanging of the applied layer can be reduced even when applied to rust preventive locations with a thickness of 500 to 4000 μm. |
