PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility for production of direct reduction iron which allows reduction of the use amount of coke oven gas used in producing direct reduction iron by utilizing a fuel gas higher in nitrogen concentration than coke oven gas.SOLUTION: A facility 100 for production of direct reduction iron is based on bringing a raw material 32 containing iron oxide into contact with a reductive gas containing hydrogen in a direction reduction furnace 30 to reduce the iron oxide directly and includes a circulation part 20 which introduces a reductive gas containing a circulation gas obtained by treating the emission gas from the direct reduction furnace 30 into the direct reduction furnace 30 and a gas supply part 10 for supplying, to the circulation part 20, a supply gas which is obtained by purifying a fuel gas containing carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen and having a nitrogen concentration of 10 vol.% or higher and has a nitrogen concentration lower than that of the fuel gas and a carbon monoxide concentration higher than that of the fuel gas. |
