A seat belt height adjuster (28) for a seatbelt loop, comprising a positioning mechanism (32) slidable on a guide rail (30) under operable control of an actuator (60), the actuator (60) being movable with respect to an actuator support (58) between a first position in which the positioning mechanism (32) is in first operating state and a second position in which the positioning mechanism (32) is in the second operating state. The actuator (60) further comprises a biasing means (68) configured to bias the actuator (60) against the actuator support (58), wherein the biasing means (68) applies a restoring force that is distributed across a transverse region of the actuator (60). |
