PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor for tapping easily coping with a diversity of works by a single turret punch press. SOLUTION: The adaptor 21 for tapping for use in the turret punch press 1 comprises a ring gear 29 on which a tapping die 25 can be mounted, and a gear holder 31 having the ring gear 29 incorporated, which can be mounted on a turret 9 of the press 1 so that the incorporated ring gear 29 is located at a position corresponding to a punch mounting part 33 preformed on the turret 9.
