PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a triangle with minimum processing. SOLUTION: A drawing device, with the inside of a triangle 111 to be displayed on a display screen as a drawing area, divides a rectangle 110 circumscribing a vertex of a triangle into a plurality of rectangle segments of the same shape, and extracts one rectangle segment containing a part of the triangle from the plurality of rectangle segments as a starting rectangle. The determination of whether the rectangle segment adjacent in a predetermined direction overlaps the triangle drawing area is made in order from the starting rectangle until finding that the triangle drawing area is not overlapped. Simultaneously, the determination of whether the rectangle segment adjacent in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction overlaps the triangle drawing area is made in order from the starting rectangle until finding that the triangle drawing area is overlapped. The rectangle segment in the perpendicular direction determined first by the determination processing as being overlapping the triangle drawing area is set as a next starting rectangle.
