PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of mounting a housing side on a mated component without need for providing a mounting screw for a housing storing a coil or forming a mounting hole in the housing. SOLUTION: The cylindrical coils 5a, 5b are stored in the cylindrical housing 8. A shaft member 1 having magnetic poles of an N pole and a S pole alternately magnetized in an axial direction is inserted into the cylindrical coils 5a, 5b. A resin bearing portion 21 supporting the shaft member 1 in such a manner that the shaft member 1 can make a linear motion is mounted on the housing 8. A mount portion 22 for mounting the housing 8 side on the mated component is resin-molded with the bearing portion 21 in one piece. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
