PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tool, promoting self-generative action of abrasive grains for efficient cutting. SOLUTION: A saw blade 10 is provided with a base metal 12 and a blade part 14. The blade part 14 has abrasive grain layers 16A-16C, and dummy layers 18A and 18B. The abrasive grain layers 16A-16C include abrasive grain rows 20A-20C as a plurality of abrasive grains 20 arranged in line along the height direction of the blade part 14, and binding agent 22. Abrasion quantity of the dummy layers 18A and 18B is larger than abrasion quantity of the abrasive grain layers 16A-16C. The abrasive grain layer 16A, the dummy layer 18A, the abrasive grain layer 16B, the dummy layer 18B, and the abrasive grain layer 16C are disposed in this order in the width direction of the blade part 14.
