PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered soft magnetic powder compact which is low in specific gravity and high in AC magnetic characteristics.

SOLUTION: The sintered soft magnetic powder compact is composed of a composition containing Fe and 2 to 6 mass% Si and inevitable impurities (containing Ni as an inevitable impurity and does not contain others), in which Si is unevenly distributed between particles, and the Si concentration between the particles is higher than the Si concentration other than that between the particles.
