<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent landing interference of ink-droplets on an intermediate transfer body, to achieve a desired spreading ratio, and to form an image of high definition and excellent transfer performance. <P>SOLUTION: A first processing liquid containing polymer particulates, a second processing liquid less than pH 5 having a function to coagulate the polymer particulates, and a third processing liquid having a function to allow the mixed liquid of the first liquid and the second liquid not less than pH 5 are successively applied to the intermediate transfer body, thereafter, an ink containing pigment is formed into a droplet, then, delivered to the intermediate transfer body, further, a fourth processing liquid having a function to coagulate the pigment contained in the ink is applied to the intermediate transfer body, a liquid solvent is removed from the surface of the intermediate transfer body, thereafter, the image formed on the intermediate transfer body is transferred to a recording medium, consequently, the problem is solved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
