A lamp unit (10) with a reflector (12) and a light output region (16) is disclosed. A linear light source unit (30), comprising at least one LED light source (24) is arranged in the output region (16), at a distance to the front of the reflector wall, such that all the light flux is irradiated in the direction of the reflector wall and reflected from there to the light output region. The output region is sealed by a transmitting closure (18) such that an enclosed reflector chamber is formed. The reflector (12), the closure (18) and the light source unit (30) are permanently connected to each other to give the lamp unit (10). |
