PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head which keeps high precision of landing of an ejected droplet, even when a heating element is positionally deviated with respect to the center of a foaming chamber so as to improve the durability of a liquid ejection head. SOLUTION: An orthogonal direction partition surface S1 being a surface which is parallel to both of the supply direction of ink from an ink supply port 10 to the foaming chamber and the ink ejection direction of ejecting the ink, passes through the center of an electrothermal conversion element 9 and partitions space in a nozzle 5 in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the supply direction passes through inside the foaming chamber 6 and a second ejection port portion 13. When the volume of an area on one side of the orthogonal direction partition surface in the foaming chamber 6 is larger than the volume of an area on the other side of the orthogonal direction partition surface of the foaming chamber 6, the volume of an area on one side of the orthogonal direction partition surface in the second ejection port portion 13 is formed to be smaller than the volume of an area on the other side of the orthogonal direction partition surface of the second ejection port portion 13.
