PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field equipment development support system for making it unnecessary to provide any actual field equipment in developing or testing an application. SOLUTION: The field equipment development support system for developing target equipment connected to a field network is provided with a PC composed to perform an operation equivalent to that of the target equipment and a communication interface converter for relaying data flowing between the PC and the field network to the other party.
