The generator has a component (12) moved opposite to a stator (2), which comprises an induction coil (10). The stator comprises permanent magnets (28), which produce magnetic field. The coil is spatially superimposed on the stator. Mobility of the component against the stator is restricted to a straight line movement. The component is connected with a buoyancy body (30), which comprises closed volumes and filled with gas or porous material containing a gas cavity. The generator is arranged on a water surface or on water.
