An RF(Radio Frequency) amplifier and an amplifying method are provided to improve bandwidth by using an active feedback method using an active element. An RF amplifier includes a first amplifier(10), a second amplifier(40), an active negative feedback unit(30) and an NIC(Negative Impedance Compensation) unit(20). The first amplifier amplifies the input signal firstly. The first amplifier has a low gain and wideband characteristic. The second amplifier increases the gain of the output signal of the first amplifier. The second amplifier reduces the DC level. The active negative feedback unit negatively feeds back the output of the second amplifier to the input of the second amplifier through the feedback transconductance. The NIC unit compensates for the parasitic capacitance of the output node of the first amplifier.
