An Ethernet signal transmitting apparatus using a telephone cable and a method thereof are provided to perform the Ethernet communication outside and inside the home and between rooms within the home without installing separate cables. An Ethernet signal transmitting apparatus comprises the first balanced line(10A), the second balance line(10B), the first balun(20A), the second balun(20B) and a telephone cable(30). A transmission Ethernet signal(E_Tx) is transmitted to the first balun through the first balance line. A reception Ethernet signal(E_Rx) is transmitted through the second balance line from the second balun. The first balun converts the transmission Ethernet signal which is the balanced signal delivered from the first balance line into a unbalance signal(UN_Txl), and then transmits the converted signal to the first signal line included in the telephone cable. |
