PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifying device capable of discontinuing supply of wasteful power to VHF amplifying circuits by an operation on the ground when a TV signal in a VHF band is completely stopped. SOLUTION: For power output from a rectifier circuit of a power supply part installed in a specific place, in respective amplifying devices installed in a plurality of parts, power of one-side polarity out of half-wave power of positive polarity and half-wave power of negative polarity is supplied to the VHF amplifying circuits, and the power of the other-side polarity is supplied to UHF amplifying circuits to respectively operate the VHF amplifying circuits and the UHF amplifying circuits, and the circuits on the polarity side supplied to the VHF amplifying circuits are cut off by a circuit cutoff means, whereby the half-wave power of the polarity supplied to the VHF amplifying circuits in the respective amplifying circuits is prevented from being transmitted to the respective VHF amplifying circuits to bring each VHF amplifying circuit in the respective amplifying devices into a suspension state.
