PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermochromic pigment securing fine adjustment of color change temperature even by addition of a small amount and fine particle size of the microcapsule pigment without causing lowering of complete coloring temperature. SOLUTION: The microcapsules at least include the reversible thermochromic composition consisting of (A) an electron donating coloring organic compound, (B) an electron receiving compound and (C) a reaction medium determining the occurrence temperature of the coloring reaction of (A) and (B), and a synthetic polyolefin wax with a weight average molecular weight of 800-20,000. The microcapsules at least include the reversible thermochromic composition consisting of (A) the electron donating coloring organic compound, (B) the electron receiving compound and (C) the medium determining the occurrence temperature of the coloring reaction of (A) and (B), and the synthetic polyolefin wax having an acid number of 1.0-100 KOH mg/g.
