PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component with which assembly operability can be improved with cost reduction and magnetic path effect and performance improvement effect by magnetic material resin can be attained by sealing a circumference of a coil with sealing resin. SOLUTION: The coil component includes: a bobbin 11 having a pedestal 12 and a hollow coil winding portion 13 projecting from the pedestal 12; the coil 27 wound around the coil winding portion 13; at least a pair of terminal plates 17a and 17b inserted into the pedestal 12 of the bobbin 11 and connected to terminals of the coil 27; a core 21 which has a collar portion 22 and a shaft portion 23 projecting from the collar portion 22 and has the shaft portion 23 inserted into a hollow of the coil winding portion 13; and the sealing resin 30 which covers the circumference of the coil 27 and terminal plates 17a and 17b and is coupled to the pedestal 12 of the bobbin 12 in one body.
