PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a well-known plug connection, a manufacturing cost is comparatively high. SOLUTION: A first plug section 1 includes a receiving sleeve 10 which encircles a first coupling section, and the receiving sleeve 10 carries a locking element including a flexible tab 13 which is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, and which is pre-stressed in its locked position. A sliding or releasing sleeve 15 which is engaged with the locking element and is manually and axially movable so as to release an engaged connector is held on the receiving sleeve 10. A second plug section 3 has a plug tube 20 surrounding the second coupling section 5. When the plug tube 20 is inserted in the receiving sleeve 10, the locking element 12 rests on the outside of the plug tube 20 in its locked position, and the plug sections are thereby connected with each other.
