PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handhole which is capable of expressing characteristics that are desired to be expressed by a pattern having a stereognostic sense on an upper surface, and a lid of the manhole, and a production method for these. SOLUTION: A plurality of the patterns are formed on a mold upper surface, and the respective patterns are separated by recesses, and a plurality of granular structures and linear structures which have different shapes are arranged on surfaces between the respective patterns. The surface shape of the lid of the manhole and the handhole become the same as those of the respective patterns on a mold surface after casting, so that the theme of design can be expressed.
