A terminal watching broadcast which various broadcast providers provide in one SIM card and a method for the same are provided to release a function capable of receiving only broadcast provided by a first broadcast provider. A communications unit(110) is comprised of a broadcasting receiver(111) and RF (Radio Frequency)(112). A broadcasting receiver receives broadcast signal from a broadcast supplier and outputs the broadcast signal. RF transmits and receives an external terminal and signal through a mobile radio communications network, or an outer server and signal through internet network. A user inputs the various information or commands to a terminal(100) through an input unit(120). An SIM(Subscriber Identity Module card) card interface(130) is an interface between an SIM card(200) and a controller(170). Data stored in the SIM card through the controller performs by reading out data.
