An apparatus enabling the wings B of chicken or other poultry to be skewered in an extended (stretched-out) orientation along an axis (X) for cooking and eating comprises first and second clamp members 41,42 which can be brought together to bring the wing B to be skewered into the desired orientation and to releasably hold the wing B. The apparatus further comprises means 61 for inserting a skewer A into the wing B along the axis (X), such that the wing remains in the extended (stretched-out) orientation when the clamp members 41, 42 are released. |
