PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of effectively suppressing air leakage from a fold-back end part of a carcass layer without deteriorating rolling resistance. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, the carcass layer 4 comprising thermoplastic organic fiber multifilament cords 11 is stretched between a pair of bead parts 3, 3, and is folded back from the tire inner side to the outer side around bead cores 5.
