PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition that has a small hysteresis loss and an elastic modulus hardly depending on the temperature. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires comprises 100 pts.wt. of at least one diene rubber selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber (NR), a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (SBR), a polybutadiene rubber (BR) and a polyisoprene rubber (IR), and 50-120 pts.wt. of the total of carbon black and basic magnesium sulfate as reinforcing fillers.
