Hardware group (1) for windows, doors and the like which comprise a frame (3) and a leaf (2) movable in a slidable manner relative to the frame (3) along a first given direction (D); the group (1) comprising at least an abutment (32) which can be carried stably by the frame (3) and at least a corresponding closing member (34) carried by a rod (31) couplable to the leaf (2) in a freely slidable manner transversely to the first given direction (D); the group (1) further comprises an actuating device (20) to move with stops the rod (31) with alternating movement and this actuating device (20) comprising a cam-follower mechanism (10) suitable to contrast a reversing movement of the rod (31) in order to maintain each closing member (34) stably engaging the respective abutment (32).
