A method for determination of pulses propagation velocity in electrical communication lines comprises connection of a test line to output of a pulse ring oscillator and excitation it with a start pulse. An obtained pulse is supplied to the test line, a reflected pulse is received and the ring oscillator is excited with the said pulse. A repetition pulse train of monitoring pulses is formed, monitoring pulses frequency is measured, and rate of advancing monitoring pulses through the electrical communication line is determined. Before excitation of the oscillator with a start pulse test line output is matched, a line input is not matched. After measuring frequency of monitoring pulses, test line is input matched, output is not matched. Propagation velocity of electrical pulses in natural lines is determined according to formula. |
