<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cell main body from damage by solving the problem of generating voltage falling due to lack of hydrogen in the case of increase of external load. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with a fuel cell main body 2, a hydrogen supply device 7 supplying the fuel cell main body with hydrogen, an air supply device supplying the main body 2 with air, a hydrogen circulation pump 9 circulating hydrogen exhausted from a hydrogen outlet of the main body 2 to a hydrogen inlet, and a purge valve 10 discharging the circulating hydrogen into the atmosphere. When a load is changed for an increase, pressure difference between the hydrogen inlet side and the outlet side of the main body 2 is enlarged by executing the increase of the opening level of the purge valve 10 and increase of revolution of the hydrogen circulation pump 9 to supply enough flow of hydrogen to the fuel cell main body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
