MULTI-CHANNEL INDUCTOR AND LED BACKLIGHT MULTI DRIVER USING MULTI-CHANNEL INDUCTOR

A multi-channel inductor and an LED(Light Emitting Diode) backlight multi-driver using the same are provided to maintain uniform brightness by constructing a single-colored LED with a plurality of arrays and correcting a lifetime difference due to a characteristic difference and deterioration of each of the LEDs. A multi-channel inductor includes a main coil(300) and at least one sub coil(301-303). The main coil is charged with energy and discharges the energy by being turned on and off at predetermined intervals by receiving power. At least one sub coil is sequentially charged with energy through electromotive force induced from the main coil by sequentially winding at least one winding around the same core as the main coil. The multi-channel inductor further includes a sensing coil for sensing an energy change of the main coil.
