SYSTEM FOR BIOMARKER SCREENING

PURPOSE: A method for screening a methylated marker gene which is able to detect cancer cells is provided to diagnose dysmorphism of cervical cancer among high risk groups and cervical cancer. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening methylated genes comprises: a step 1 of comparing gene expression list of cancer cells, dysmorphism cells and non-transformant; a step 2 of treating demethylating agent to cancer cells and dysmorphism cells and confirming genes of which expression is increased after treating with the demethylating agent; and a step 3 of finding common genes of which expression is increased in both steps 1 and 2. A biomarker for diagnosing cervical cancer contains CpG island of a gene promoter.
