摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the acceleration feeling in an accelerating operation and to secure the sufficient driving force in a shift controller for a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: An initial rotating speed Nps and an initial change gear ratio Rs of a primary pulley in the termination of an acceleration initial mode G, and an attained rotating speed Npe and an attained car speed Ve of the primary pulley at the termination of acceleration H, are determined, when a request state for acceleration by a driver is determined on the basis of a state point F. The downshifting is performed by the control of the acceleration initial mode M1 for downshifting from the state point F to the state point G. Then the rotation of the primary pulley is converged to the attained rotating speed Npe by the control of a rotation converging mode M2, and the car speed is changed and controlled to be converged to the attained car speed Ve.
