<p>The invention relates to a fluid pump comprising, in a housing (1), a suction side (S) that is provided with a supply (Z) for the flowing medium and a pressure side (D) that is provided to withdraw the flowing medium. The suction side (S) and the pressure side (D) are fludically separated from each other by an actuatable running wheel (7). The pressure side (D) has at least one first flow cross-section (I) and a larger second flow cross-section (II). In the housing (1), at least one outlet (1a) is arranged in the region of the second flow cross-section (II) and at least one inlet (1b) is arranged in the region of the first flow cross-section (I) for one part of the flowing medium. The at least one outlet (1a) and the at least one inlet (1b) are connected together by at least one fluid channel (3) that is at least thermally connected in parts to components (4), the heat thereof being withdrawn. The invention also relates to the use of the fluid pump as a cool water pump in a motor vehicle.</p> |
