Subject: prosthesis for ligament surgery and reconstruction of the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments. Constitution: the head, the body, the rims and two surfaces (the outer surface consisted of a deep thread of osteoconductive material retaining the prosthesis on the bone and the inner surface consisted of a thread retaining the graft with a screw provided). Into the head there is a hexagonal housing for the placement of the bone. Advantage: impeding the direct contact of the graft with the bone so that this last can be protected for long time from damage due to developed friction; steady and secure maintenance of the graft for complete functionality thereof.
