PURPOSE: An angle controlling structure of a headrest for a vehicle seat is provided to control an angle of a headrest by repeating hanging and loosing by a latch of a rotating cam which climbs a gear tooth of a fixed cam according to a rotating angle of a headrest. CONSTITUTION: An angle controlling structure of a headrest for a vehicle seat comprises: a fixed cam(20) which has a first guide plate(22) which guides a rotating cam to the counter clockwise direction, a second guide plate(23) which guides the rotating cam to the clockwise direction, and a plurality of gear teeth(21) which engages to a plurality of latches(31) of the rotating cam; the rotating cam(30) which has a cam nose(32) which contacts to the first guide plate, a cam guide plate(33) which contacts to the second guide plate, and the latch; a bracket(50) hangs in the latch with climbing the gear tooth with rotating to the counter clockwise direction; and a center bracket(70) which connects to the bracket and comprises a cam shaft(71) and a detent(72). The both ends of a torsion spring(11) wherein the central part is inserted into a fixed bar(10) are inserted in the bracket and the fixed cam. The torsion spring rotates the bracket by elasticity to the clockwise. The both ends of a cam rotation spring(34) are inserted into the rotating cam and the center bracket. The rotating cam touches to the dent and the latch engages to the gear tooth, by the elasticity of the cam rotation spring. |
