PURPOSE: A guide bush apparatus of an automatic lathe is provided to raise the machining accuracy of a workpiece as the gap between a guide bush and the workpiece is maintained to a minimum by the force of a compression spring. CONSTITUTION: A guide bush apparatus of an automatic lathe comprises a guide bush(11), a sleeve(12), an adjusting nut(13) and a lever(14). The guide bush supports a workpiece. The sleeve surrounds the guide bush and is fixed to a body(10). The adjusting nut is formed at the back side of the guide bush and connected to the guide bush with a screw. The lever always is provided pushing force by a compression spring(15) and is connected to the body by a pin(19).
