FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chelate complexes of gadolinium (III). Complexes of Gd3+ with 4-dihydroxyborophenylamine (DHBPA) have formula Gd(DHBPA)3, and complexes of Gd3+ with DHBPA and monosaccharide (M), which is in the inner sphere of the complex, have formula: M3[Gd(DHBPA)3]. DHBPA molecules enter the coordination sphere of gadolinium through nitrogen and oxygen atoms of the alanine fragment.
