PURPOSE: A mobile terminal including a plurality of antenna and an operation method thereof are provided to connect a mobile communication antenna and a broadcasting antenna through an antenna connecting unit, thereby performing stronger communication than an activation of the specific function. CONSTITUTION: An antenna access unit(195) connects a mobile communication antenna(191) and broadcasting communication antenna(193). A diplexer(130) is electrically connected to at least one of the mobile communication antenna and the broadcasting communication antenna. A mobile communication module(110) is connected to the diplexer. A broadcasting communication module(120) is connected to the diplexer. A control unit(160) controls the activation of the mobile communication module and the broadcasting communication module.
