PURPOSE: A fishing rod and a manufacturing method for the same are provided, which can strengthen intensity of the fishing rod and elastic force in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION: A fishing rod is comprised of an inner carbon tape layer, a carbon fabric layer, an outer carbon tape layer, and a coating layer. The inner carbon tape layer(11) is spirally taped. Carbon fabric layers(21,22,23) are formed in two or three layers. The outer carbon tape layer is spirally taped at the outside. The inner carbon tape layer is taped in the form of the helix that the carbon tape diagonally surrounds one side in the length direction.
